The Audio Technica AT-OC9XML dual MC Phono Cartridge stands out within the OC9X series with its nude square shank microlinear stylus mounted on a 0.28mm diameter nude boron cantilever, delivering remarkable channel separation.
PCOCC Coil
For impeccable audio reproduction, the AT-OC9XML employs pure copper coils obtained through the ohno continuous casting process. Configured in a reverse V-formation, these coils exert lower pressure on the stylus, reducing distortion.
Sound Quality
Enhancing sound quality, the rigid aluminium enclosure minimises resonance, while a neodymium magnet paired with a permedur yoke synergistically boosts magnetic energy. The nude microlinear stylus precisely traces the record groove, delivering rich, full-scale audio with exceptional transient response. The pre-threaded cartridge body allows effortless mounting on a headshell or central tonearm using just two screws, eliminating the need for nuts.
Please Note: Moving coil cartridges require receivers or preamps with compatible inputs; their stylus assemblies are not field-replaceable.
