The C70 has it's style firmly in the past but its performance is state of the art.
The hallmarks that made McIntosh famous; dynamics, detail and attack are all present
but with even more control and scale that before, your listening experience will be more
engaging, more rewarding and of course more enjoyable!

The C70 is a vacuum tube pre-amplifier using five 12AX7A tubes and one 12AT7.
These tubes are visible through the glass top panel.

The switches hark back to the original style of the McIntosh preamplifiers.
Click knobs and rocker switches allow you to adjust treble and bass and select
mono or stereo, and tone controls.

Featuring 2 pairs of XLR balanced inputs and 3 line-level RCA inputs.

The C70 also has both moving magnet and moving coil turntable inputs.

Outputs are via 2 pairs of balanced XLR's or 2 pairs of unbalanced RCA.
Allowing for multiple power amps to be used if so desired
