Classic & Classic + Mains Cables
In designing our cable products, we carefully assess the value of each element incorporated into the design and construction. We focus on areas that truly make a difference in sound quality while avoiding unnecessary embellishments.
Vibration distortion, picked up and transmitted by mains cables, is identified as the primary obstacle to sound fidelity. Therefore, our design approach prioritises addressing this issue. Additionally, we meticulously consider the materials used and terminations at each end of the cable. Our attention to detail extends to optimally screening against a wide range of electromagnetic disturbances, not just those easily countered by conventional methods.
The outcome is remarkable, even with our entry-level Classic cable, which delivers performance exceeding its price point.
The Classic Plus Cable represents a step up, incorporating an additional screening layer to the carbon nanotechnology screen already present in the Classic Cable. This enhancement, derived from the development of our Ultimate cable, includes MAG-X, a highly flexible magnetic screen that significantly improves upon conventional RFI screens. By integrating this extra screening layer into our Classic cable formula, we introduce the Classic Plus, bridging the gap between our Classic and Ultimate power cords.
