Precision in Design
The ICS-8 comes with its specially designed pre-construction bracket, ensuring a precise edge to plaster and finish. It seamlessly maintains visual harmony with the CF230 system. With round and square flush fit grille options, integrators have the flexibility to combine the ICS-8 with a CF230 system, creating an extensive and nearly invisible speaker setup without compromising audio quality.
Advanced C-CAM Cone Technology
Monitor Audio's renowned C-CAM cone technology is at the heart of the ICS-8. It features a 20 cm long-throw driver that delivers tuneful and punchy bass. The driver is internally angled within the rigid MDF enclosure to reduce overall box height. This design optimizes performance while ensuring it remains unimpeded by building materials.
Bandpass Enclosure Design
The bandpass enclosure design conceals the driver within the sealed box, with only a flexible tube and aperture for venting into the room. This clever design ensures the ICS-8 performs like a 20 cm subwoofer despite its 10 cm grille opening. It's the perfect choice for pre-construction installations in spaces with sufficient joist depth and spacing, breathing new audio life into existing environments.
Simple and Rewarding Installation
In new projects, the ICS-8 pre-construction kit simplifies installation. Integrators mount the bracket, cut out the hole, secure the tube to the d-ring, and fit the plasterboard. The 'mud bank' attaches to the plasterboard before plastering, and the plastering shield allows skimming up to the bracket. After drying, sanding reveals a precise, clean edge. When the grille is painted to match the ceiling color, the result is a perfectly discreet installation with no visible edges or shadows.
Delivery is made by common carrier next working day. Delivery is FREE for orders in-stock and over £100 or £9.99 for orders less than £100 or special delivery items.
